Left at Intermission Because we Couldn't Hear!
We think the performers in this play were probably great dancers, but we're not sure because we couldn't make out the words that they were singing. Many people in line with us at the bathrooms were complaining of the same thing. Since the majority of the play is singing rather than dialogue, it made it extremely difficult to follow the story. We were sitting in the "Dress" section of the theater and had to strain to hear the words to the songs. We enjoyed the dancing greatly, but left at intermission because of the sound. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to this performance. The performers in this play were great singers, and we think they were probably great dancers, too.
